International Symposium on the
Celebration of 10 Years with ELI-NP - 10 PW on Target

The most powerful laser system in the world
2 x 10 PW

This event is a unique occasion to witness ELI-NP's:
  • Main achievements in Science and Technology
  • Targets ad Goals revisited
  • New horizons explored
The implementation and operation of the ELI-NP laser system represents a major scientific and technological leap forward in the field of high power ultrashort pulse lasers enabling new frontiers of knowledge to be reached.

The Symposium is honouring Nobel prize winner Professor Gerard Mourou who initiated the Extreme Light Infrastructure project and who envisioned and strongly supported the realization of the Nuclear Physics pillar of ELI.

Programme

The event will take place in Magurele during October 24th-25th, 2023, at the IFIN-HH/ELI-NP Conference Centre, according to the following programme
