The activity of a Junior Web Programmer is carried out within a team, whose purpose is the development of Web applications, intended for use in ELI-NP. The main responsibilities for this position include writing scripts/web programs (HTML5, JavaScript, PHP, etc.) to create or modify applications as required. At the same time, the employee will have the tasks of testing and involvement in troubleshooting web applications and creating documentation for them. Moreover, the web application developer will be involved in the design of new applications

Participates in the development of web applications using HTML5, PHP and MySQL/Posgresqls
Periodically testing the security of the ELI-NP project site in order to identify vulnerable areas
Maintain and improve backup as well as recovery strategy
Participates in the improvement and maintenance of current web applications
Configure the required applications, test the applications and modify the programs
Involvement in the design and evaluation of web applications developed by research groups
Prepares the necessary documentation for users
Provides user support
It is permanently documented by studying the materials that deal with this subject (newsletters, books, magazines, Internet)
Effectively collaborate with cross-departmental teams and provide SME guidance/feedback
Professional background:
Higher education graduate, preferably with a Computers/Electronics/Informatics/Physics or Informatics/Mathematics or Informatics/Cybernetics diploma
Minimum 1 year specialized experience
Knowledge in the field of SQL / NoSQL databases and the their query language
Experience working with front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3
Understanding of Social API's, such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
Good interpersonal skills, a strong team spirit and a result-oriented attitude, as well as a capability to deliver when working under tight deadlines
Fluent in English

Full time position, based in Bucharest - Magurele, Romania .
