Scope of work:

Main Responsabilities:

• Acquiring the necessary knowledge and getting sufficient expertise for monitoring the functioning of the installation and of the equipment. In this context, some of the Technicians will benefit from training at the equipment suppliers regarding the assembling, testing and commissioning of the equipment
• Providing technical support for scientific and engineering activities
• Providing assistance and technical support during the operational phase to maintain the best performance of the ELI-NP systems

Main Tasks:

• Installing, acceptance testing, maintaining, providing technical support and documentation of vacuum systems related to laser operation
• Overseeing all vacuum related protocols, processes and procedures related to laser operation
• Actively and efficiently getting involved in dialogue and communicating within the ELI-NP team; promoting a harmonious collaboration framework

Professional background:

• Secondary school/high school diploma – technical specialization
• Experience in complex vacuum systems
• Having a structured and organized approach towards work
• Being able to set priorities and plan tasks with results in mind
• Adapting quickly and resourcefully to shifting priorities and requirements
• Fluency in English
• Proven teamwork experience and efficient communication and collaboration skills

Working arrangements/Conditions of employment:

• Full time position, based in Bucharest - Magurele, Romania .
• Included: private medical coverage, paid annual leave.
• Motivating salary, at European level, based on qualifications and experience.
• The candidate should be available to travel abroad for scientific collaboration at various research infrastructures, for part of their time.
