The ELI-NP electricians will provide technical support for the equipment both in the implementation and the operational phase of ELI-NP
Main Responsabilities:
Gaining the necessary knowledge and enough experience to monitor the operation of installations and equipment
Providing technical support for the scientific and engineering activities
Providing assistance and technical support during the operational phase to maintain the best performances of the ELI-NP systems
Main Tasks:
General:
Getting permanently informed and learning the parameters and the technical norms in order to carry out the maintenance and repair works, the types and the functional parameters of the electrical tools and installations, the types of works, the raw materials and the basic materials used
Constantly monitoring the quality parameters required in the specific work procedures or engineering instructions
Communicating information on tasks, possibilities and different events by written or oral report
Carrying out work under safety conditions, in accordance with the institute’s policy the labor safety legislation and norms specific to the workplace
Specific:
-Regarding control, diagnosis of electrical installations:
correctly selecting and using the devices for measuring current, voltage and electrical resistance
correctly interpreting circuit diagrams, symbols and basic electrical laws
determining parallel and series circuits
switching off the electrical equipment according to the technical norms on labor safety and fire protection and extinguishment
performing visual, auditory checks on electrical installations or by means of measuring devices, by proper procedures, in order to comply with the
norms on fire protection and extinguishment
identifying faulty equipment and components, in order to remedy them
choosing the tools, materials and measurement devices according to the work diagram
-Regarding the maintenance of electrical installations:
performing periodic inspections and technical inspections on electrical installations
lubricating, greasing electrical installations
identifying and checking the quality of materials and cleaning the accessible parts of the electrical installation
establishing the need for repairs, depending on the technical condition of the electrical installation
-Regarding the use of the toolkit:
choosing tools/devices in accordance with the provisions of the technological documentation and the tasks to fulfil
identifying and marking for sending to repairs the tools which are faulty or unsafety for use
performing the current maintenance in order to keep devices and apparatus under proper operating conditions, in accordance with the procedures or regulations in force
storing and safekeeping the toolkit according to the recommendations specific to the workplace
Professional background:
Secondary education
Electrician qualification course, authorized by ANRE degree II B
Knowledge of English
Proven teamwork experience and efficient communication and collaboration skills
Working arrangements/Conditions of employment:
Full time position, based in Bucharest - Magurele, Romania .

The candidate should be available to travel abroad for scientific collaboration at various research infrastructures,
for part of their time.
