The Electronics Engineer will work in the Technical Division, in the Electronics Laboratory, and will collaborate with the technical and experimental teams at ELI-NP for implementing, operating and maintaining the experimental systems
The Electronics Engineer will use his/her competences of electronics to design electronic circuits necessary for the operation of the experimental systems at ELI-NP and will follow up the process of production for the electronic circuits and their process of implementation or integration into complex systems
Main Responsabilities:
Main Tasks:
In the Technical Division of the ELI-NP research infrastructure the Electronics Engineer will have the following duties:
in collaboration with the research groups, will upgrade and troubleshoot the electronic circuits in operation at ELI-NP
will design electronic circuits necessary in the ELI-NP research centre
will follow up the process of production of the designed electronic circuits
in collaboration with the electronics design engineer will integrate and upgrade the designed circuits in the complex experimental systems at ELI-NP
will devise the logical diagrams and the functioning and operating procedures of the electronic systems
will prepare the technical documentation necessary for the operation and maintenance of the electronic systems
will check the installed systems using the measurement equipment in the workshop and will make sure that they meet the characteristics in the project and are in line with the requested specifications
will look after the safe operation of the electronic systems designed and implemented
will make sure that these systems are implemented in accordance with the standards and the legislation in the field
will attend professional training courses for acquiring of new skills in electric, command and control system design
will ensure the correct use and operation of laboratory equipment
will ensure the procurement of the materials and parts necessary for the electronics workshop
Professional background:
Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's Degree in electrical engineering, electronics or automation engineering
Experience in managing electronics production processes
Relevant experience in carrying out electronics projects: projects including control engineering and electronic circuit design
Technical competence in several of the following fields: analogic and digital electronics, measurement and control techniques for electronic circuits, control loops, microcontrollers, PLC, pulsed or continuous high voltage power supplies, electronic signal processing
Basic knowledge of computer operation and text editing programmes, good knowledge of programming and design software for electronic circuits
Ability to set priorities and plan tasks with results in mind
Ability to adapt quickly and resourcefully to shifting priorities and requirements
Fluent in English
Proven teamwork experience, communication and efficient collaboration skills
Working arrangements/Conditions of employment:
Full time position, based in Bucharest - Magurele, Romania .
