The Locksmith/Vacuum Technician will work in the Technical Division, in the Mechanical and Vacuum Workshop, and will collaborate with the technical and experimental teams at ELI-NP for implementing, operating and maintaining the experimental systems
The Locksmith/Vacuum Technician will use his/her competences to assemble, install, diagnose operate, remedy defects and maintain the mechanical systems and equipment of the ELI-NP Facility
Main Responsabilities:
Main Tasks:
In the Technical Division of the ELI-NP research infrastructure the Locksmith/Vacuum Technician will have the following duties:
will assemble and test the mechanical systems in accordance with the assembling documentation
will take part in the assembling and testing of vacuum, special gas, compressed air or cooling water systems in the research centre
will prepare the material necessary to manufacture various mechanical parts to be done in the mechanical workshop
will operate the processing and cutting equipment (will perform material boring, reaming, welding, cutting, bending, polishing);
will operate lifting equipment in the mechanical workshop, abiding by all norms in force
will take part in the maintenance and servicing of all equipment in the mechanical workshop
will perform the diagnosis and remediation of defects in mechanical equipment repair works, within the limits of his/her competence
will attend professional training courses for gaining new knowledge in his field of activities
Professional background:
High school graduation diploma - technical specialization
Experience in vacuum system assembling
Fluent in English
Proven teamwork experience and efficient communication and collaboration skills
Working arrangements/Conditions of employment:
Full time position, based in Bucharest - Magurele, Romania .
