The Electronics Technician will work in the Technical Division, in the Electronics Laboratory, and will collaborate with the technical and experimental teams at ELI-NP for implementing, operating and maintaining the experimental systems
The Electronics Technician will use his/her competences of electronics for providing technical support in the experimental areas and will take part in building and troubleshooting the electronic circuits necessary for the operation of the experimental systems at the ELI-NP research centre. He/She will also take part in the process of integrating these circuits into complex systems and their operation and maintenance

In the Technical Division of the ELI-NP research infrastructure the Electronics Technician will have the following duties:
will assemble or disassemble electronic systems
will take part in all stages of the production process for electronic or electric circuits under the coordination of engineers
will take part in the process of maintaining, troubleshooting and repairs for the electrical, electronic and automation circuits
will operate the equipment in the electronics workshop
will maintain and ensure the smooth operation of all equipment in the electronics laboratory
will take part in the works for assembling and integrating the electrical, electronic, electromechanical systems at ELI-NP, under the coordination of engineers
will assemble and disassemble the electronic parts included in the electronic circuits
will attend professional training (courses, seminars, etc.) for gaining new knowledge of electric, command and control system design
Professional background:
High school graduation diploma in electronics/electrotechnics or technical post high school studies in electronics/electrotechnics
Basic knowledge of computer operation and text editing programmes
Relevant experience in carrying out electronics projects: projects including troubleshooting and development of control systems and execution of electronic circuits
Technical competence in several of the following fields: analogic and digital electronics, measurement and control techniques for electronic circuits, control loops, microcontrollers, PLC, pulsed or continuous high voltage supply sources, electronic signal processing
Fluent in English
Proven teamwork experience and efficient communication and collaboration skills.
Working arrangements/Conditions of employment:
Full time position, based in Bucharest - Magurele, Romania .
