On November 5th 2022, ELI-NP received the visit of the Deputy Prime Minister for Digitalization from the Republic of Moldova, Iurie Turcanu, who was accompanied by the Romanian Minister of Research, Innovation and Digitalization, Sebastian Burduja, and the Mayor of Magurele, Narcis Constantin.
In the context of participating to the opening of GoTech World, the largest IT & Digital business event in Central and Eastern Europe, deputy prime minister Turcanu particularly appreciated the presentation of the ELI-NP/IFIN-HH stand at the fair.
During his visit to ELI-NP, the Moldovan official was informed about the stage of project implementation, about the first achievements of the research as well as about the medium-term development perspectives of some societal applications resulting from the carried out research.
During the visit there were revealed, as well, the possibilities of bilateral collaboration with an emphasis on doctoral and post-doctoral specialization of young researchers from the Republic of Moldova.
