A PHP developer works as part of a team in programming applications that are often web-based for clients. Key duties of this role include the writing of PHP scripts and coding to create or modify software and applications according to the requirements. Other tasks also include troubleshooting any errors or issues relating to PHP programs and creating documentation for the same. Furthermore, the PHP developer will be involved in the design of the new applications
Main Responsabilities:

Design and prepare robust web applications using PHP and MySql/Postgresql along with services
Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.
Maintain and improve backup as well as recovery strategy
Improve and maintain all current PHP programming systems
Integrating PHP code with HTML5, CSS and JavaScript
Facilitate to establish and maintain test, development and production environments
Involved in systems evaluation and design efforts related to user interfaces
Prepare application test data as required and validate whichever data conversion needed for final execution along with production rollout
Conduct code evaluation and recommend software adaptation
Conduct tests related to quality assurance and usability for different project websites
Provide knowledge transfer to colleagues as required
Effectively collaborate with cross-departmental teams and provide SME guidance/feedback
Professional background:
Higher education graduate, preferably with a Computers/Electronics/Informatics/Physics and Informatics/Mathematics and Informatics/Cybernetics diploma
Minimum 5 years in similar position it is a must
Fammiliarity with limitation of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
Extensive experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
Experience working with front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3
Up-to-date knowledge of and practical experience with industry best practices, both PHP and database applications
Understanding of Social API's, such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
Good interpersonal skills, a strong team spirit and a result-oriented attitude, as well as a capability to deliver when working under tight deadlines
Ability to establish new standards for quality, performance or productivity.
Fluent in English

Full time position, based in Bucharest - Magurele, Romania .
