The successful candidate will become a member of the operation and maintenance team of the Variable Energy Gamma-ray System (VEGA)
During the implementation phase of the VEGA System, the successful candidate will be involved in the testing and commissioning of the systems associated with the VEGA system
During the operational phase, the successful candidate will participate in the operation and maintenance of the VEGA system
Main Responsabilities:

The successful candidate will gather the knowledge and experience necessary to ensure the operation and maintenance of the VEGA system
Provide assistance and technical support for engineering activities
In the operational phase:
Provide assistance and technical support during the operational phase to maintain the best performance of the ELI-NP systems
Main Tasks:
Professional background:
High School Diploma with technical specialization or a Bachelor degree in a technical area
Experience in at least one of the following topics:
- high-precision mechanical systems
- optomechanical systems
- vacuum technology
- digital/analog electronics
- high voltage power supply sources
Self-efficient and organized in prioritizing tasks and projects
Availability to travel and perform work stages abroad
Fluency in English and good interpersonal skills
Working arrangements/Conditions of employment:
Full time position, based in Bucharest - Magurele, Romania .

The candidate should be available to travel abroad for scientific collaboration at various research infrastructures,
for part of their time.
