Scope of work:

The Engineer will carry out his/her activity in the Technical Division. He/She will attend the activities of operation, monitoring and maintenance of the buildings and outdoor spaces related to the ELI-NP research infrastructure. Under the buildings maintenance program, he/she will be in charge of the administrative support activity for all premises within the ELI-NP research infrastructure. He/She will also monitor construction and fit out works as person in charge of the contract.

Main Responsabilities:

Main Tasks:

• Takes part in the implementation of the technical and technological strategy of the ELI-NP project
• Monitors and ensures compliance with the technical documentation in the execution of construction works
• Identifies the technical difficulties that may occur during buildings construction and proposes solutions to overcome them;
• Takes part in monitoring how contractual obligations are being fulfilled by the parties involved in carrying out the construction works;
• Monitors the way the parties involved in carrying out the construction works comply with the incidental norms in the field
• Attends the work meetings on how the construction works at ELI-NP are progressing;
• Takes part in monitoring how the parties involved in the performance of the works contract comply with the construction site safety and security regulations;
• Takes part in monitoring how contractual obligations are being fulfilled by the parties involved in performing the works contract;
• Recommends suitable measures and strategies to improve the use of technological, human, financial resources required for the sound operation of the ELI-NP infrastructure
• Takes part in the activities intended for the technical integration of the ELI-NP components
• Takes part in the activities regarding the safety of installations within ELI-NP
• Identifies all aspects concerning authorization;
• Identifies the conditions under which safeguards are provided for the objective and the related equipment
• Devises the preliminary preventive and predictive maintenance plan (inspections, checks, replacements of consumables);
• Develops work relationships with interested partners;
• Takes part in developing energy use efficiency strategies;
• Ensures the fulfillment of all conditions for providing support services;
• Gets actively and efficiently involved in the dialog and communication within the ELI-NP team and promotes a harmonious collaboration framework;
• Fulfills any tasks of her competence, instructed by the ELI-NP Technical Director and/or the ELI-NP Project Director.

Professional background:

• Specialized training: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• Foreign languages: good knowledge of English
• Seniority: minimum 3 years of technical coordination
• Abilities, qualities and skills: technical and communication activities coordination skills, integrity, efficacy, perseverance, teamwork; sound knowledge of civil engineering

Working arrangements/Conditions of employment:

• Full time position, based in Bucharest - Magurele, Romania .

• The candidate should be available to travel abroad for scientific collaboration at various research infrastructures, for part of their time.
