The VEGA LINAC consists of 5 acceleration modules that will accelerate electrons up to 800 MeV. There are 4 S-band accelerator structures in each module, with a total of 20 accelerator structures.
Lyncean Technologies Inc. delivered on site at ELI-NP during February-June 2022 all accelerator structures, LINAC magnet assemblies, gate valves, ion pumps and controllers, and precision chillers.
