The French Embassy facilitated a visit by a delegation from the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) led by Catalin Miron, Director of Research Infrastructures & International Affairs, which included representatives from operational directorates. The delegation was accompanied by Thierry Salmon, Nuclear Advisor for the region at the French Embassy in Romania. They visited several departments of IFIN-HH and the ELI-NP infrastructure. During their visit, they participated in in-depth discussions about the cutting-edge equipment in the institute and at ELI-NP in particular, which plays a pivotal role in our research endeavours. The delegation gained valuable insights into the ongoing research and development at the institute, emphasizing the significance of international collaboration in advancing nuclear science and technology.
