Professor Moshe Gai from the University of Connecticut got a
award as Fulbright Specialist Roster for a tenure of three years,
ending on in April 2029. At ELI-NP, Prof. Gai will work on a
teaching and research project in nuclear astrophysics named "Shining
Light on Astrophysics".
Ms. Sophie Vulpe, student from MIT got a Fulbright Student award.
Ms. Vulpe is a senior major in physics and mathematics. Her Fulbright at the Extreme Light Infrastructure-Nuclear Physics (ELI-NP) institute in Magurele, Romania, will be related on developing advanced data-processing algorithms for a new monoenergetic gamma ray spectrometer.
