A delegation from the Joint Research Centre (JRC) visited the Horia Hulubei National Institute for Research and Development in Physics and Nuclear Engineering. Their visit was marked by the signing of the extension of the scientific cooperation protocol between the two partners for another 5 years.
The JRC delegation was led by Ulla Englemann, Head of Directorate G, and Dan Chirondojan, Head of Directorate R, accompanied by Ramona Chiriac, Head of the European Commission Representation in Romania and was greeted by Mr. Andrei Alexandru, President of the National Research Authority.
The event highlighted the achievements of the 15-year bilateral scientific collaboration and explored the prospects for expanding the fields and the teams involved (i.e. ELI-NP).
