Thursday, 12 March 2026, the amphitheatre of "Alexandru Lahovari" National College in Ramnicu Valcea hosted the signing of the protocol implementing the first pilot project of the National Programme "LaserMind", dedicated to education in the field of optics and laser technologies in Romania. The protocol confirms the outstanding partnership between the Emblematic Romania Association (under the auspices of the Romanian Academy), ELI-NP Magurele (Extreme Light Infrastructure - Nuclear Physics), Valcea County School Inspectorate and the host of the meeting, "Alexandru Lahovari" National College of Ramnicu Valcea, being "intended to lead to brain gain", reversing the migration trend and transforming the county into a regional hub for artificial intelligence and applied physics.".
